Payment & Project Terms
Clear terms before
production begins.
EK Studio projects are built through a structured process. These terms explain how deposits, payments, scope, revisions, client content, and delivery work before a project begins.
Start a ProjectWe keep the process clear so every project begins with shared expectations, not assumptions.
These terms apply to all EK Studio projects including websites, print and campaign materials, and brand identity systems.
Terms of engagement
Deposits Reserve Production Time
A deposit secures your project's start date and reserves dedicated production time. Until a deposit is received, no timeline is guaranteed and your slot is not held. Deposits are applied toward the confirmed project total.
Payments Begin Intake
Project intake, briefing, and scoping begin after payment is confirmed. Discovery calls and detailed scope reviews are scheduled following deposit or initial payment, not before.
Scope Confirmation Before Production
Final scope, including deliverables, page count, revision rounds, and timeline, is confirmed in writing before any production begins. No work starts without mutual written confirmation of scope and direction.
Website Pricing & Premium Projects
Premium website projects start at $5,000. Package pricing displayed on EK Studio service pages reflects base rates. Final pricing is confirmed during scope review and may vary based on project complexity, page count, and content requirements.
Revision Rounds
Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds. Revision rounds are structured feedback cycles, not unlimited change requests. Revisions requested outside the confirmed scope are scoped separately and invoiced before additional work continues.
Client Content & Project Delays
Clients are responsible for providing all required content, copy, images, logos, and approvals, within agreed timelines. Delays in content delivery may extend project timelines. EK Studio is not responsible for delays caused by missing or late client-side materials.
Project-Based Design Payments
All design and development work is priced per project, not by the hour. Pricing reflects the full scope of the agreed deliverables. Scope additions that materially change the project are treated as separate line items and invoiced accordingly.
Refund Policy
Deposits and payments made toward a project are non-refundable once production has begun. If a project is canceled before any work starts, EK Studio will review refund eligibility individually. Completed work is not eligible for refunds regardless of project outcome.
Approved Checkout Links & Invoices
Payments made through an approved checkout link or invoice apply toward the confirmed package, deposit, or approved invoice only. Payment links are issued directly by EK Studio after scope confirmation. Do not submit payment without prior written confirmation of your selected package or invoice amount.
Published Service Pricing
Pricing displayed on EK Studio public service pages reflects current base rates and is subject to change without notice. Confirmed project pricing is locked at the time of signed scope agreement or approved invoice. Published rates do not represent a binding offer until scope is confirmed.
Approved Package Payments
Payments are issued after scope confirmation.
Approved payment links are provided directly by EK Studio after your package has been selected, your invoice has been approved, or you have received direct confirmation of the next step.
If you have not received a payment link or invoice, begin with the project inquiry form. We will review your goals, confirm the right package, and issue the appropriate payment instructions before production begins.
Important
Do not submit payment without prior written confirmation of your selected package or approved invoice amount. Unconfirmed payments cannot be applied to a project until scope is agreed in writing.
